This was a typical example of a first generation site that had grown organically and without clear direction; it had become dated, confusing, difficult to navigate and it was not compliant with the latest accessibility legislation.

The site required a complete redesign and the brief was to create a clean, intuitive, search engine friendly and accessible site that would be easy to update. The site also needed to act as primary customer acquisition channel. We therefore conducted interviews with prospective customers, which resulted in an overhaul of the Property Search Functionality, changes to the level of information supplied and the introduction of a 3-step critical conversion path. The Client has seen an increase in the number of sales enquiries.

The challenge: The design had appeal to 3 very different audiences: prospective customers, existing customers and an institutional audience. This was addressed by creating 3 distinct areas within the site. The design also had to meet Bobby AA accessibility standards, which required close collaboration and negotiation between our design and technical teams.
