Bringing a digital stage to life
The Share Foundation approached Zebedee to refine the user experience of their brand-new digital series, Stepping Forward: Explore. Hosted on the Thinkific® platform, the series was created to open up the joy of performing arts to young people across the UK. The challenge was to take a standard third-party platform and transform it into a bespoke-feeling, brand-aligned experience that functioned seamlessly for two distinct audiences: individual parents/learners and educational providers looking to ‘bulk buy’ for schools or youth groups.

Targeted user journeys
We began by auditing their existing Thinkific® setup to identify ‘loose ends’ in the user journey. Our goal was to ensure that from the moment a visitor landed on the homepage, their path to purchase or login was intuitive.
- Dual-Audience Homepage: We merged existing landing page content with a fresh homepage design, creating clear pathways for both individuals and organisations.
- Bespoke Branding: We moved beyond the platform’s standard templates by integrating custom fonts, a refined brand colour palette, and a new site favicon to ensure the visual identity felt premium and professional.
- Streamlined Sign-In: To reduce friction, we simplified the sign-in experience by removing redundant social icons and making the ‘Create New Account’ call-to-action more prominent for new users.
Functionality Meets Purpose.
Beyond the aesthetics, the project required technical precision – editing theme files including Liquid templates and CSS to customise the logged-in views. We updated headers and footers across all course pages, removed unnecessary currency displays to clean up the interface, and added direct links back to the main Share Foundation website to maintain a cohesive brand ecosystem.

In keeping with the project’s mission to support young people, accessibility was at the heart of our development. We conducted Level A accessibility testing to ensure the platform was usable for everyone, regardless of how they interact with the web.
The Result
Mobile-Optimised, Brand Alignment for Thinkific®
The “Stepping Forward: Explore” project is now live, providing a high-quality, one-of-a-kind introduction to acting, singing, and dancing. The platform now balances ease of use with a sophisticated brand identity, empowering The Share Foundation to fund vital life-skills programmes for young people in care through the success of this digital series.
