A luxury riverside community brought to life online
Chiswick Quay is a unique residential enclave set around a private marina on the River Thames. The Residents Association wanted a new website that reflected the character of the community while making practical information accessible for homeowners, members, and visitors.
Our challenge was to create a brochure-style site that did more than present information – it needed to elevate the identity of Chiswick Quay and embody its sense of exclusivity, tranquillity, and riverside lifestyle.
Our Approach
A REDESIGN TO ELEVATE
We began by helping the client define a navigation structure that felt intuitive and supported their diverse content. The aim was to give residents and visitors a clear pathway to the most important sections – from property and marina facilities to local lifestyle and amenities.
To capture the luxury and serenity of the Quay, the design relies on:
- Clean layouts and white space – allowing content and imagery to breathe.
- Micro-interactions and subtle animation – creating a sense of flow and movement, inspired by water.
- Typography-led branding – a modern wordmark logo refined to suit both digital and signage applications.
- Custom CSS enhancements – extending Squarespace beyond its base design tools to achieve a more distinctive, polished look.
- Responsive Design – a mobile-first approach to design with extensive cross-device testing to ensure a seamless experience across all platforms
We also advised the client on new photography, recommending a local photographer to capture both the architectural details and the atmosphere of the marina.

The Result
The finished website positions Chiswick Quay as a desirable, contemporary riverside community while remaining practical for residents’ day-to-day needs. Pages are quick and easy to update, while our refinements lift the site beyond the typical “brochure” template.
This is web design at its best: simple to manage, but tailored with considered structure, movement, and finish to deliver a website that feels both premium and welcoming.
